✿ Welcome to my Pastel Dreamland ✿

It might sound super cliche, but my work has always been shaped by my best friends and the places I’ve been. My visions are heavily inspired from finding the glitter in the day-to-day. I have always had an obsession with making the ordinary extravagant.

Pushing boundaries with color has always been my favorite part of photography. I’ll see an interesting building on the corner and picture its colors so differently in my head. So, I’ll take a photo and edit the colors so they reflect what I see in my mind. A place where the sky is lavender and the highlights are pink.

I’ve always been obsessed with noticing things. Like the yellow street lights glowing at night when the sky's the perfect shade of blue, finding every random pink wall in my hometown, the pretty pastel mattress near the dumpster at golden hour, and then of course, making all of my best friends pose dramatically in these places. I love dressing up overlooked spaces. My friends that trusted me with my visions early on have given me the confidence and freedom to play. This play, led to me finding my process. I am forever grateful for every single one of you that has supported me since day one of my colorful chaos.

In this first collection, every image traces back to a place that I hold close to my heart. It was shot all over Miami, New York City, and one photo was taken in Massachusetts. Miami is where I got engaged and saw the most beautiful art-deco architecture that I have fantasized over though my whole life. Art-deco and pastel color schemes have shaped so much of my work over the years. New York City has always been a place where I felt at home and I’ve spent a lot of time there over the years. The rush of the city and its colorful chaos fuels me. The grunge-pop aesthetic I adore is mostly inspired from NYC and concerts. I’m excited to launch more work from MA in the next drop, as it’s my hometown state and where I found myself as an artist. It’s where I experimented, played, and dreamed all at once.
